Actors Ed Begley, Jr. and his wife Rachelle Carson-Begley, co-stars of Living with Ed, are featured in the March/April 2010 issue of Viv Magazine. Ed is wearing C5 cuff links, and Rachelle names C5 company as her favorite jewelry!

Ed and Rachelle have since signed on as spokespersons for C5 company, and the announcement received industry-wide attention at National Jeweler.

C5 company founder Meghan Connolly Haupt was featured in an article in the January 2010 Green Weddings issue of Eucalyptus Magazine. Titled Eco Bling: Responsible Luxury, the article provides an excellent overview of the social and environmental problems associated with the traditional jewelry industry, and the challenges of creating truly sustainable jewelry.

A recent Fast Company Member Blog entitled Gold’s Dark Side details the pollution and habitat destruction that results from gold mining. The article extols C5 company’s use of only recycled or fair-trade metals in its jewelry. Meghan also gave a video interview for the CSR Report at 3BL Media about the environmental impact of gold mining.
